What is your favorite part of working for Vantage Point and why?

Collaborating with the team! Everyone at Vantage Point has a unique background and brings a different skill set to the table. Our work environment allows us to leverage each other's knowledge and learn from each other with every project.

How did you get to Vantage Point?

During my job search I was contacted by Vantage Point to see if I was interested in applying for the Sr. Consultant position. I loved that the position was going to allow me to leverage my existing skill set, but also challenge me to push my career to the next level. Most of all, the core values of the company, Ownership Mentality, Collaborative, Tenacious, and Humbly Confident, really hit a home run for me and align closely with my own personal values.

If you wrote a memoir, what would you title it and why?

I would title it An Uphill Celebration. There are so many things in life that can be challenging, many for me that started at an early age, but I welcome almost all of them with open arms. I’m a big proponent of personal growth and have excitedly taken on many new things, personal and professional, that have contributed to where I am in life today.

If you could go back to your first day at Vantage Point, what advice would you give yourself?

Have patience and confidence in yourself. Starting a new job after working at the same company for 8 years was a big challenge for me. Meeting all new people and learning new processes was nerve wracking, but it didn’t take long before I felt right at home and like a member of the family.

What is your typical coffee order, and what do you think it says about you?

I absolutely love a Vanilla Cream Cold Brew! It’s simple, understated and vanilla is a classic, which speaks to my minimalistic and simple approach to life and style.

If you could choose any superpower, what would it be and why?

Teleportation, there’s so much to see in this beautiful country and world that we live in and I would love to get to see as much as possible without the hassle of traveling.

What is your most unusual talent?

Cake decorating. I originally went to culinary school and loved everything about baking, but took a special interest in decorating cakes. Back in the day I even had a small side business where I made all kinds of cakes ranging from birthdays, gender reveals, graduations and my favorite, weddings!

What would you tell someone who’s thinking of applying for a job here?

I would encourage it! Vantage Point has a great culture where everyone is able to speak and contribute, not only on project based work, but also to the overall processes and procedures we follow as a company. Your opinions matter here. Additionally, leadership and co-workers have great energy and are extremely supportive.
